Golfing, Fishing and Walking Holidays in Perthshire
There are a choice of golf courses near our guest house - Gleneagles is a golf club only 20 minutes away by car.
Some of the golf caddies at the Johnnie Walker Championship [played at Gleneagles every August / September] regularly stay with us, because our location is so convenient for the Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Course.
Visit St Andrews - the Home of Golf - about one hour away by road from Perth.
If you prefer fishing, the River Tay runs alongside Perth, with various other choices of angling waters within easy reach.
Walking routes of varied difficulty are available in the area - take a leisurely stroll along the riverside banks, explore the parks and glens of central Perthshire, or tackle some hill walking if you are seeking something more challenging.
Shopping
Perth has a vibrant shopping centre, with most of the main city centre shopping streets designated as pedestrian zones.
